Seldom do Sawscale Vipers let you get a nice shot of their head. My male E. c. sochureki is an unusual beast that is not skidish or overly defensive. He rides a hook nicely, sometimes too nicely when he slithers up it towards my hand. I let him out a bit for surpervised exploration of the Snake Room floor on occassion. I never disturb Egyptian Sawscales I have, they are too paranoid and flakey.
