The neighbors are terrified and refuse to touch the male. They knew the female as a tiny baby and are more inclined to touch her. It sure is hard to socialize them when people are afraid to touch them...sigh...
The neighbors behind us will occationally jump up on the fencing to look over the top and see how big they are. The Bordeaux are not good jumpers, but still I don't like them doing it...It's akin to teasing the dogs, at least I'm afraid that is what the dogs will think. But, my Boxer is a good jumper, however, and she thinks she is quite tough - from a distance. 
For those that haven't heard a Bordeaux bark or growl, you are missing something. I can't begin to describe it, but I've never heard anything like it. By the sound of it, they really could be a Hell Hound.  ----- StarlightSpecialties.com
