He and some others here have a lot more experience with BMs than I do. I think they are one of the coolest animals out there. I wish it didn't take so long to get completely black animals. I have 03's,04's and an adult 2000'. The only one so far COMPLETELY black is the 2000' male, and what a cool animal he is.Definite "pet" material whether your looking for that or not. Good luck,You can always grab some very dark Mex. Black kings to quench your "Black snake" thirst and put the gaigeae on the back burner and let it get to be a spectacular animal in it's own time.
