Not really... Afraid that already happened in my family a few times before. (couldn't help it!)
In defense of mules, while few people can manage them well and they're often difficult to train due to being so smart and stubborn, those things become assets once the mule is on your side. Combine that with being hardy, sure footed, fearless compared to horses and incredibly strong, and you have a damn impressive animal regardless of whether it's sterile or not.
I agree that health problems in hybrids need to be watched for and furthermore, so must the safety and welfare of the parent animals. But with hybrid snakes, so long as the above two concerns are addressed and the exact mix is kept track of, I see no more harm in keeping or breeding a hybrid than in keeping or breeding an albino. ----- 0.1 chickens (Condor)
