do, but there is no external eardrum or tympanic membrane. The

eardrum is covered with skin. They don't hear very well....

and from what I've read are more likely to hear the lower sounds.

most (if not all) millipedes ooze toxic substances

(benzoquinones) as a defence against predators....so I wouldn't

feed them to chameleons.



However...these same toxins that are released are used by various

monkeys and lemurs to repel insects. They roll/rub the millipedes

all over themselves.
