I have never bought turtles from P&J or John Richards but I know John and have great respect for him. My pinks and leucistics have been very healthy and have grown just as fast as my normal colored alligator snappers. As far as the pinks or leucistic staying the same color I don't think that it matters where you get the turtles from. Like I have said on this forum before some of my pinks stayed pink while some of them turned cream colored or yellow. The shells even changed colors from dark to golden on some. The question is what color will they be in years to come? More pictures in photo gallery.
