Posted by: huntsville at Thu Jul 7 07:33:16 2005 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by huntsville ] I've been working on this for some time, trying to get a pure, bright color with no blushing or mottling. I bred my un-named desert-appearing pastel male to another un-named brown-and-yellow pastel female of some sort, both wild caught animals with no lineage information. Here is what I got, he's a male; and I also have a female, plus one that looks like the mother. One normal in the clutch of four. I also bred him to a pied and hope for nice offspring. He produced two litters last year, proved co-dom; but this "blend" is what I've been trying for. Let me know what you think. I can't wait to breed him into genetic stripes, pins, pieds and clowns. Grow up, little man! | ||
