Joe's more of an optimist in these matters than I am LOL - Garner State Park is the most visited park in the state, and I would suggest that if alterna were there that some kid would've brought one to a park ranger LOL.



The possibility does exist that you could turn up one, though. There is a good looking set of cuts on US 83 between Leakey and Uvalde. I think there is one suboc record from there.



The cuts between Leakey and Camp Wood are known to harbor lepidus.



Joe already mentioned fm 335 north of me. Lots of Bairdi there, but no lepidus records.



I don't think the habitat looks anything but marginal here in Real, Uvalde, or extreme eastern Edwards counties.



One last thing. It hasn't rained here significantly in over a month . . . so conditions are also working against you if you're coming any time soon.
