These are my favorite milksnakes. You can't go wrong. They don't need much, thrive in a 2ft cage, and are just darn easy. And 3ft for a male is a good sized one. Many males of either species are not even that.



The nice thing about these milks is that despite their small size they are great mouse feeders. Yeah, the New Mexico milks may require lizard scenting at first, but they are still extremely hardy snakes.



The two intergrade where their ranges meet. Classic New Mexico milks are rather small and usually a little more brightly colored as adults but not always. Classic Mexican milks are kind of stocky as adults and more robust in size. Both are tame as adults when compared to most other milksnakes. Very squirmy as babies though, but that passes after a year or so or even alot sooner with some individuals.
