Posted by: SteveH at Sun Jul 10 12:47:36 2005 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by SteveH ] In my opinion large wild common snappers are more dangerous and harder to pick up or move off the road than it would be to pick up an alli snapper of any size. if i'm trying to get it out of harms way i'd drag it by the base of the tail. if i had a large pet that was vicious i'd probably not lift it too much at all because lifting by the tail might injure them. if it were tame that would be a different story. they have so much range with that long neck that they're best left alone unless you're ready to be clawed or repeatenly bitten.
