Posted by: janome at Mon Jul 11 21:01:32 2005 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by janome ] i think it's only if you want to breed. i have never put my snakes through a cooling period and they are fine. i just have them as pets. i have that book as well on milks. i was concidering a black milk. they are AWSOME. i saw a jet black one and it was so cool looking. i hear they are docile with handling as well. i've seen a couple of pictures of really long milks...like 6 foot, one a black milk and the other a honduran, but mine is more like 3 foot. enjoy........
