Posted by: JavaJacketOC at Thu Apr 5 01:15:31 2007 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by JavaJacketOC ] It's normal for the chameleons to enlarge thier eyes when you're misting, sometimes(Make sure you're not spraying directly on them or using high pressure). Usually it's because water has gotten in thier eye and trying to get it out. They'll usually rub thier eye on branches to help the process. Not sure what kind of plants or branches you've got in there but if they were rubbing thier eyes on branches that could easily splinter or a plant that could be toxic they could have gotten an infection...usually if it's caught early a vet can get perscribe an antibiotic but if something is lodged in the eye it will need to be removed.
