RE: not eating?

My females usually start "searching" to lay eggs between 3-4 weeks after copulation. Mine aren't aggressive towards me at all even if they're gravid or not. You will know when she's ready to lay....she will be constantly searching her cage, especially at the bottom and perhaps digging in a potted plant. At this stage it is a good idea to transfer her to an egg laying chamber or provide one for her in her cage if you're cage is large enough.



A gravid female panther is deceptively small when gravid if you're just looking at her...they don't appear "huge" like female veileds. So just don't go by her looks...keep an eye on her behavior too.
