Here is grayband number 2 that we found last week, this one was VERY VERY special, as Barb, Patricia & I had all been road cruising this night & had saw only 3 snakes in the 3 hours before heading back to Sanderson to drop off Barb, since she was tired. We pulled into my driveway & parked the Nissan under the carport at 12:00am & shut the truck off. We all went in the house to get drinks & snacks. Minutes later, Patricia is seated in the truck, ready to go out again, for whatever reason, I had my maglight in my hand & out of only sheer curiosity, started shining the carports walls, since we have alot of med geckos that live there. I shine the NE area of the carport, see one gecko there, then walk thru the carport, turn right, walk maybe 5 feet & start to shine the SW corner of the carport wall at 12:10am and Wham, see this awesome 16" medium phase female blairs laying on a ledge, only 6" from ground level right here, right now! I was shocked & immediately yelled to Patricia, asking her to get Barb & bring my camera & quick! The top photo was taken the next morning to show the carport area & The photo below is a "In-Situ" or as found photo of this urban alterna, as it was laying there, on my carport ledge, does it get any better than this? I think not....John
