Actually, Derek, as long as you live in the U.S., as long as you're a minor you can return ANYTHING? Many times, even if you lost it or it died, depending on the situation.



You can return dirty underwear if you like, unless an adult was there when you bought it. The reason is that you can exit any contract, and actually buying something is just that. You would need a receipt of cash payment as proof (kids can't pay in credit or with check without an adult), but it's the law.
