Alot of neonate animals that are leucistic are pink, and in the ally snappers the "leucistics" as alot of people call them, are pink. But if they were true leucistics, they would turn completely white as they grew, which they don't do, instead they turn a yellowish or brown color.
Because of the pinkish color, I would think the morph is erythristic, which means excessive red pigment. But because the morph turns yellowish as they grow, I would think they were hypomelanistic.
