Thanks for your response. You were right...after close to a month, my Pacman emerged from "seclusion". It has been particularly hot here this summer, but when the weather cooled for a day or so, the frog came out of its hole. The frog is actually larger than when it began the hibernation. It has been acting fairly normal since. When it first "awoke", it ate about 10 large crickets. Since, then, it has settle into a less voracious eating cycle. It eats every couple of days, and then only 2 or 3 large crickets or a couple of goldfish. I still don't know the sex of this creature, but I hope it's a male..I would like to hear his call.
