Take the crix and put some in a clean coffee can and shake them until they are stunned - can walk, but don't launch (don't kill them). Now, take a cricket and drop it near your leo and enjoy the hunt! I do this with crickets and mealies almost every other day. I also offer mealies in a small food dish daily. The result of this type of feeding is that they are extremely used to me and two of my trio will accept food from my hand readily. Be sure to properly offer calcium in a dish and dust the food insects often with both a vitamin and calcium. If you take the time to feed your leos well, they will put on weight and fill out quickly. Good luck...RR | ||
