Well, my shipment finally got here...1/16" crickets and Hydei Flightless FF. The crix really are that size...(Lele, this is for you...LOL!)...for some reason they look more like ants than my other shipment of small pinhead crix. Could they be a different kind? Just wondering. These came from reptilefood.com and my last shipment came from a place here in FL. Instead of being almost see through, they are dark...weird?



The FF are the larger species...and wow, does my little 4 month old R. Brev. love them! More bang for her bite...so to speak...LOL! She gobbled up a few just after I put them in there even though it was close to bedtime. I hope these are ok for me to feed her...I would assume since the smaller FF are ok...they have RED eyes...freaky looking.



A few questions though...first of all, I just read on reptilefood.com's site that the nutritional make up of the FF (eithere large or small) are similar to mealworms...is that correct? If so, should I not feed them to her that often? I was under the impression that mealies were for treats only.

Also, there are about 50 per vial...if I feed all of the FF from one vial, have they more than likely already laid eggs in there? Should I alternate vials so as to not deplete one too quickly? I hope I'm making sense...
