Actually the term "albino" for leos is incorrect. They really are amelanistic leos because while they do lack melanin, they don't lack the other pigments. A true albino according to the scientific definition is a single gene on a very specific loci that causes the animal to have no pigmentation on the skin, eye, or hair (if it has any). So all the "albino" leos have yellows, or oranges and other colors making them not scientifically true albinos. ----- ~Andrea
