I was just wondering how many peoples primary motivation for buying ball pythons with special genetic traits do so because they are cool or because they hope to make money. Now most of us can say XYZ is awesome and I own one because they are neat, but would you have bought it if you knew you could never breed it or sell the offspring? I have some that the only reason in my mind I can justify the kind of money I spent is because I have a shot of return on my investment, and then some.

Now don’t blow this out of proportion, I love my snakes and spend a ton of time and money on them even if they are normal, and will never make a dime.I was just wondering how many peoples primary motivation for buying ball pythons with special genetic traits do so because they are cool or because they hope to make money.
