Normally I would have said you are ok - but when my Harry escaped it was out a gap in the top of his tank about 1/3 of inch big, he was about 250 grams or slightly more at the time - never under estimate their power to squeeze out those tiny gaps! 1/4 inch holes are ok but gaps allow more area to squeeze out of. I'd say you are 95% ok. ----- Tosha
