I don't feed them at all. The shell contains too much chitin and they are hard to digest. That's why it's recommended to feed them sparingly, if at all. I don't think that they are like candy in that for an adult mealworm, their % of calories from fat and protein is actually pretty good and they are good feeders for other herps.



Maybe feed only the freshly molted ones?



You're obviously a very concientious keeper and I'm not trying to criticize or anything. If you lived closer to me, I'd give you some roaches to try out!
