I find many captive bred chams are smaller than the sizes often recorded for their species in the wild. There are probably many nutrients we just can't reproduce in captive diets, and the amount of physical exercise a wild one would get is much different. There's most likely some genetic selection going on in wild populations too...larger brighter males get more females to carry on their traits. I've seen many smaller veileds who were just beautiful. Chams can vary in size like any other creature. [ Hide Replies ]
