After I adopted my BP, he would come out of his hide box every night at around 9:30-11:00, he'd cruise around the tank for twenty minutes or so, take a drink and then go back to his hide. About three weeks later, I finally got him to eat, and I haven't seen him come out since (that was two weeks ago). The second time I fed him, he nabbed the mouse and took it into his hide, and even swallowed it in the tight confines of the box. Granted, I don't know what he's doing between the hours of midnight and 8 AM, so perhaps he's more active later on.

Is this normal? I wonder if his original movement was in search of food, now that he has eaten, he sees no real need to search for it. I've taken him out to inspect him, but otherwise, I have not seen him leave the hide on his own in a couple weeks now. He has a hide in the colde zone (80 degress), and I have never seen him use it.

Any idea what's going on?
