RE: BALL PYTHON RETARDO PROBLEM

I would take him to the Vet. As a pet owner you signed up for this type of thing. I have taken many pets to the Vet that ended up costing more than they were worth but they are my pets and in my mind I owe them proper care and love.

My son has a $29 gecko who didn't eat for four months. I hated it but I took it to the Vet. They gave it a Vitamin shot and we withheld the antibiotic due to a less than 50% chance that it would live. This trip cost me over 3x the price of the Gecko. After syringe feeding for 2 more months, this Gecko is fully recovered and eating normally. In the end it was worth it and it certainly was worth it to my son who loves that Gecko more than life itself. Who knows, this trip to the Vet might be more to your advantage than you think.
