I have been thinking of this because we got 3 good eggs from our het pied to het pied breeding yesterday. Het to het gives you a 25% chance of getting a pied, a 50% chance of getting a het pied and a 25% chance of getting a normal. So right now I have about a 20% chance of hatching a pied because I have 3 eggs.
As for people buying from you, pieds are a little safer because it is apparent if you have a pied or not. If the snake is healthy and you have some good references of people who have bought other animals from you, then you should be fine selling them. I guess we will find out because we are in the same boat as you are, as we are relatively new to the ball pythons. I did sell all my 50% het males last year from my het to normal breeding. If we hatch out a male, he will be staying here to determine if the 50% het pied girls we have are hets or not. Pieds should be in demand for a long time because of their looks. They are just such a dramatic morph.
