Acctually the other guy was wrong! Rats are more nutritious for Ball Pythons. They have more calcium and more of the protein can be used because obviously they have more muscle mass. Also, if you feed rats because of the calcium and protein you will notice that your ball will become more sheen unlike mouse fed ones, they tend do be more drab looking. Thought I would share that. If you hate dealing with live rats keep them in a paper bag and kill them yourself, just whack it with something. Easiest way to solve your problems.
