I apologize for trying to thrust my beliefs on you, but I would encourage you to read the first post from today and understand that most people that live where indigos are found will never see one outside of legal captive bred and zoos. Also the poster states he is doubtful that there will be any more in his area within 5 years, due to encroachment. Habitat preservation and public awareness are some of our goals, but to knowingly buy a protected species from a guy that says he can get legal wild caught indies is not only a crime, it's a bald face lie. I hope you make the right decision. I live in Texas, can't have my local indigo and am on a waiting list for a legal, healthy, captive born animal that I can both share and teach with others who otherwise wouldn't have a chance to see or touch a live indigo. They are a fascinating and beautiful part of our world, and my passion for all snakes is just my way. i think they may be the ultimate example of the snake world of how awesome and ultimately fragile He made this place, and it is up to all of us to manage our resources for ALL to have. Sorry if anything I said upset you, and yes, I am nuts, but can't speak for the rest of the tribe! Nuts about indies, LOL!
