coctail shrimp? Do you ever feed it to them?

I remember reading somewhere that garters like bits of shrimp as a treat. Who has tried it, and is there any reason you can think of that I should not? I'm thawing some out right now, and thought I may try (if there's any left over once I'm done with it!). Any thoughts? Duffy
