I'll go check those out.

About Japan. We moved back in December and are now in Maryland. It's a really sore subject - japan and herps. We had to leave all our geckos there. We sold them to a pet store, which was extremely hard to do because I had some of the most beautiful fattail boys I've ever seen. You probably remember, but here's a pic.

Japan has a pretty cool herp trade. In fact, you can a ton of animals there that aren't available here. Many primates are sold at pet stores (I wouldn't do it for fear of ebola or other filovirus) and many other species that shouldn't be sold. From what I can gather in my magazines from Japan, because many people live in really small apartments, herps are a viable pet where they can't have a dog.

I wanted to work with some of the breeders in the States (notably Albey) to broker high end geckos there, where you can literally make a fortune, but I had a lot of trouble getting a reliable Japanese speaking person to help me out. I saw a Tremper albino leo back in Spring of 2000 for the equivalent of about $13-15,000 in a shop in Yokohama. Amazing. That was the first albino I saw in person.

I can't imagine what you got for your PAs. I hope well over $1,000 each.
