A friend brought me a beautiful branch of manzanita. He thought it would make a great terrarium decoration/climbing area, and I agree, its beautiful.

BUT

It is still a little green. I have heard that you should bake it first, but I found some stuff online that suggests Manzanita is non-toxic, and "safe" to use as is.

Can someone please advise me as to the proper way to bake this wood, or confirm that its not needed?

TIA,

Doc
