I agree with you there. However, there are far worse states for education. It was your comment that it's Bush's fault that got me shaking my head. Part of the problem is Florida is a retirement state and most of these people have no interest in paying taxes for education. Their argument is that they have no kids in school so why should they pay. And guess who votes on these issues? That's right, "cue-tips".
