Posted by: SteveH at Mon Aug 1 18:33:13 2005 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by SteveH ] I've always used trial and error on that. some turtles are better hunters than others.when trying to put weight and size on a hatchling i usually cut a few shiners in half to make sure they are eaten.then leave several alive in the tank and see how many are gone in a day or two.
