Artificial incubation and "airing" eggs

Has anyone tried to incubate eggs without airing? What's the longest you have gone without airing eggs?



I have always been curious but not willing to experiment. I know of other breeders who do not air their eggs at all. These are from other species though. I have a theory that they really do not need to be aired unless they are in a completely sealed (air-tight) container.
