I can tell you it is not a burn, she is a CH baby that came in two days before I got her. She has fed every time offered and is up to about 200 grams now. I don't believe in power feeding, just one adult mouse now per week. I will be switching them over to rat pups soon.
I am not saying it is genetic, and honestly I didn't buy her to get rich. She cost me $60 bucks at a show, not a bad price for a healthy, feeding CH female. I have already been offered a male pastel at the beginning of the season from one of the breeders on this forum often. Why didn't I take it? I enjoy having something different, and because I am a biology teacher I have one more thing to show my students that will amaze them. If she turns out to be nothing more than a CH female she will join the other 20 I have, if she is more, bonus. ----- 1.21 ball pythons
1 speckled kingsnake
1 snapping turtle
1.0 argentine horned frog
1.1 English Bulldogs
