Just about the only 'normal' sign would be SOME increase in weight. You may see the 'jellybean belly', or you may not. Your female may start to pace the floor ahead of time, or she just might run down there and lay with no forewarning. She may or may not quit eating before.
I think the reason why no one is answering is that there is no clear answer, to be honest. There's only two things you can do at this point. Sit down, keep calm and wait or take her to the vet and have her x-rayed.
Outside of a friendly offer for a cup of tea, coffee, or whatever your poison is, and maybe a cigarrette if you smoke, there's not too much more you can do but wait.
