In fact, there are many breeders who say changing water is a simple four step process -- dump old water, spray with Virosan, wipe clean, and refill with water. The same goes with spraying the enclosure, hide boxes, or anything else. Spray and wipe. This stuff is used as a rinse treatment for mouthrot and such, so I doubt it would be harmful if swallowed.
