This is something you do slowly, with time, not just a mnoth or two before breeding..

With that in mind, maybe one would up the food from let's say I jumbo rat every 2 weeks to 1 Jumbo rat or two large rats every week.

Some will feed all they can take in one sitting, let's say 3 large rats, but then wait a good 10 days or more.

Some will feed one large item every 4 days or so.

I would think Rabbits are lean meat and rats have more fat.
Fowl would have even more fat, but can get messy.. both before eaten, and especially after eaten.

It would probably be better if she is a bit on the warmer side, which should help with digestion and nutrition consumption.

You don't just want her regurging or sitting there with it in her stomach while you try to give more.

Either way, try to add weight without adding grotesque size an/or fat.

wish you well..
