Yes, they can have yellow on their backs. The definition of a Leucistic snake is 'a white snake with no discernable pattern'. The small yellowish blemishes are random;, differing in size and number on the few black-eyed Leucistics that have been bred.

The blemishes fade as the snakes get older.
