I was able to gently place it back in the right spot with a damp Q-tip. However one of my customers didn't have such good luck with his patternless male. He spoke with his vet and he recommended that he put mineral oil on the hemipene to keep it moist and allow it to be withdrawn. Last time I checked in on him last week the mineral oil had worked and he was doing fine. Another thing you can try is a soak in a shallow (1 inch or less) dish of warm water. You may also want to put him on paper towel, if he isn't already, just to make sure that no substrate gets caked on. [ Hide Replies ]
