No one is really sure if it's genetic - the guy who owns it claims he has the mother and she is also Derma but he has never produced any pictures so it's all speculation at this point - he'll breed it next year and well find out if it's genetic or an accident - seems like scaless snakes from other species tend to be genetic - so we'll see. As far as a belly shot there are some posted on this board do a forum search for "Derma" and you'll see them and find out all everyone else really knows about it. ----- Tosha
