Heat tape question

I'm building a rack system just like yours. I'm big into woodworking, but the electrical confuses me. can you explain, exactly how the 3 heat tape strips can be run from 1 dimmer. how is the extension cord connected to the dimmer, and the dimmer to the 3 strips????



Can more than 3 strips be put on a dimmer?
