Posted by: seagreenbeetle at Tue Aug 16 23:39:49 2005 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by seagreenbeetle ] yes, they are amazing animals. i was fortunate enough to be canoing down barton springs in austin tx when i happened across a huge common snapper. the base of his tail was as thick as my fore arm, and his shell was at least a foot and a half long. im sure that there are more impressive snappers out there, but he (or she!) was the largest that i have ever encounterd. | ||
