Social Dragons

Okay guys, question. I'm looking into purchasing a dragon and I'm currently in contact with a breeder. She has quite a few babies for sale and they're beautiful. However, she tells me that dragons are social creatures and that they should be kept together... that one dragon alone will not be happy. From what I've read on here, this isn't true. What do you think?
