Posted by: Thomas at Fri Aug 19 14:43:59 2005 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by Thomas ] My first baby out of thirteen eggs emerged this morning. When it was found he was covered in vermiculite. We cleaned it off real good and flushed it out of it's eyes. He is alive and responds to touch, but is not moving on his own. Seems like he's sleeping. Is this normal? Is he just tired from the whole hatching ordeal? Also, none of the others have started to hatch yet. Should I assist them tonight by slitting the egg a little? Or should I just let them be? I bought 1000 116th in. crickets. Is this what you guys feed your hatchlings? Lastly, when they all hatch do you keep them in seperate containers to make sure they're all eating, or do you put them all in one? I've bred snakes before, but never lizards. The breeding pair was given to me already gravid. Any help is appreciated. Thankyou, Tom Magers | ||
