checked on the eggs about 2 hours ago, and one had started to hatch. just the nose sticking out, and noticed a very small movement (or i thought so anyways). I left it alone and checked on it an hour ago. Still no progress. When my leos hatch, they all have different progress, some are out within an hour of beginning, some take a whole night (but with constant movement or sign of life)
Now, 2 hours later, it's still in the same spot, no progress, no visible movement. I don't know if it died during the process, or if it's just resting, or if i should remove it from the shell.
Do babies ever need help getting out? With the leos, some bounce in and out. they get to a spot and creep back in, then move out more, and then retreat back in... constantly until it's got his front legs out. this hatchling is just doing nothing, for at least the last 2 hours.
If he's alive, i don't want him to die... i don't know if some actually take this long to move or take another step, but i don't know if i should help him out, or just leave it be and let nature run it's course.
ANY ideas??????? Thanks
