She is one of the boas captured in Puerto Rico...from released stock. Don't know if she was released or the offspring of released boas. I received her on 08-02-05. She is about 5 feet or so and pretty trim (no real girth - I would like to see her at least the size of a soda can). She came in with mites, though I didn't notice them for a few days (glad she was in quarentine). I treated her for that. She has thus far refused f/t & live, but did shed out just last night. Her shed was poor and I had to soak her for about half an hour or so to get it off. Between the mites and having to adapt to a new environment, I understand the poor shed. I am hoping she will eat soon. She deficated a little in the water, so must have eaten a small prey animal before arriving. The seller said she ate once for him and then refused. He said he had her 3 weeks. At least the poo attests to that. Her coloring has definitely improved since the shed. If she eats, she will be a great addition.

Of course her mug is still ugly (scarred)

You can see more pics of her at the link in my signature, under Collection, then normals, or in my photo album under information.
