She is probably an exception...There are no boas naturally in the wild where she was caught. So, the introduction of boas could have been/may eventually be destructive to that ecosystem. With her, it is unknown if she was origianlly a released animal recaptured or the offspring of released aniamals. But, in the long run, most animals released into non-native areas cause eventual problems.
While I am not pro-WC, I am not 100% against it. I know many times snakes are seen in the wild and the natives destroy them out of fear or competition. I would rather said snake make it's way into collections where it may have a chance at a life than to have it's head chopped off. But, on the flip side, I am not into raping the jungles of their resources...I am not sure where to draw the line... -----
