I'm saying that we can TRY to breed any snake to any other type of snake. Some crosses will be successful, and others will not. At one time I thought that it would be impossible to cross a gopher snake with a king snake. It turned out to be possible. Now I just say that (IMHO) some crosses have a low probability of success.
I haven't heard of any BCI x rat snake or water snake x water boa or water snake x corn snake crosses. IMHO, those crosses have a low probability of success. But if somebody pulls one of them off, I'd sure like to see the babies.
Corn x gopher, Burmese x retic python, etc. crosses are being done so often that they are boring. IMHO, anybody who wants a hotshot reputation in hybrid breeding circles now will have to pull off a cross with a lower probability of success.
